We as a society are getting more accustomed to putting our personal and private information out in social media thinking that it is private and secure, but time after time, thousands of people learn the hard way. - Keep all your account's private: if your accounts are public and hackers can obtain your phone number they can use your profiles to manipulate the stories they tell you 

- Do not use the same passwords: no matter how many times people state this golden rule people neglect to change their passwords, this could give a hacker access to bank accounts and really important pieces of information
